IN HOUSE HAIR AND MAKE UP WORKSHOP

My name is Alannah Chapman and I am Frankies mum from the 6 & Under Performing Team. No doubt our dance stars first performances will come up so fast being just around the corner and it’s such an exciting time for them, but it can be a little nerve racking for us when it comes to glamming up our girls with their stage makeup and hair. So we thought If you need some advice or tips and tricks on how to create their stage makeup look, you’re in just the right place!

As we all already know, our girls don't need makeup to look beautiful! But wearing makeup on stage is not so much about trying to improve your looks. It is about being seen under bright lights from a far distance & uniforming their look. Stage lights are extremely bright and will wash out any and all facial features if no makeup is applied. So, we thought we would pop together a "look & learn" makeup arvo to get all of us dance mums' stage ready! We will go through all steps from base, cheeks, eyes, lips and perfecting that sleek pony. A booklet will be provided so you have this to refer back to on show day. I will show and demo each step for help and ease and give you lots of tips and tricks and hacks!
